The Hannmaid team recently travelled up to Falls Creek to compete in the Australian Long Course Triathlon Championships and stopped en route for a coffee in Bright to pop in to say hello to stockist, Cafe Velo.
Susan & Wayne have taken over the rear of what used to be the Oriental Hotel in Bright and transformed the space into a bicycle friendly cafe and cycle inn.
The cafe is a welcoming space that instantly feels like your best friend's home when you were growing up. They have a pretty Red coffee machine, a sunlit deck & a comfy couch to lounge in after a long ride in the hills.
Can't wait to pop by again in April.

It was a lovely weekend of bike love around Melbourne. Thanks to the crew at Melbourne BikeFest and Treadlie for such a well run market and to all the lovely people I met at the Hannmaid stall over the weekend. I shared a stall space with Bree from Wheelie Wonderful and she makes these beautiful bike flags that you can see in the photo above!

These special edition brooches are a collaboration project between Hannmaid and Josie Duncan. The Hannmaid Design has been transferred onto a polymer clay. There are only five available and will be on sale at the BikeFest Treadlie Market.

Visit the BikeFest Website for more details.
